IRCM Training at Engro Fertilizers
Recently, Engro Fertilizers hosted an IRCM focused on Advanced Lubrication Oil at its Daharki plant, aimed at driving equipment reliability and operational excellence.
The session equipped engineers and maintenance teams with cutting-edge knowledge on modern lubrication strategies, from understanding synthetic base oils and high-performance additives to mastering oil analysis, contamination control, and condition monitoring.
By linking lubrication practices directly to IRCM principles, the training highlighted how optimized oil management can prevent unplanned shutdowns in critical assets like turbines, compressors, and gearboxes.
With real-world case studies from Engro’s own operations, participants learned practical methods for storage, filtration, and lifecycle management of lubricants to extend equipment life and cut maintenance costs.
